ProFractional Laser Photos

ProFractional Laser Before and After Photos

If you have noticeable wrinkles, sunspots, fine lines, and other skin problems, spend some time to look at our profractional laser treatment before and after photos to determine if this treatment can benefit you. Profractional laser treatment uses a laser beam that targets a portion of your skin to stimulate the production of new skin cells and helps to treat unwanted blemishes.

The outcomes shown are only relevant for this patient and do not necessarily reflect the results other patients may experience, as results may vary due to many factors including the individual’s genetics, diet and exercise.

Good candidates for the treatment

At Form & Face clinic in Sydney, we offer this treatment to patients with the following conditions:

  • Acne scars
  • Fine lines
  • Skin pigmentation
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Surgical scars
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Wrinkles

How the treatment works

The treatment uses a laser beam that targets thousands of pinpoint areas in your skin. This causes your skin to release more collagen, a protein that helps strengthen your skin. In addition, the laser also stimulates your body to release healing substances. As a result, the damaged skin cells are replaced with new, healthy cells. Once your skin has fully healed, you will be able to see the results.

How the treatment is performed

During the procedure, your skin will be cleansed with an antibacterial solution. To protect your eyes, you will need to wear safety goggles. Your surgeon will also apply an anesthetic cream to prevent discomfort. The laser handpiece will then be moved around the target area and you will hear snapping sounds. The entire process usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. Immediately after the procedure, you may experience redness and a burning sensation in the treated area. To treat these discomforts, your surgeon will give you a mild pain reliever.

Recovery after the treatment

You should keep in mind that the recovery time may be different for each patient. Complete healing usually occurs after a few days. You can immediately get back to work and other daily activities after the procedure. As you recover at home, you need to avoid prolonged sun exposure to protect the treated area. Make sure to immediately report any abnormal findings such as pain, itching, and changes in skin sensation. After 2 to 6 months, you’ll be able to notice the final results of the procedure.
