Ganglion Cysts Removal Sydney

Ganglion Cysts

Ganglion cysts are small lumps that can develop on the fingers, hands, or wrists. In some cases, patients may not even realise they have them until they start causing discomfort or limited movement. However, if left untreated, these cysts can grow and become more severe over time.

Non-surgical treatments for ganglion cysts can include immobilisation with a splint or brace, aspiration to drain the fluid, and steroid injections to reduce swelling. However, if the cyst continues to grow and causes significant discomfort, surgery may be necessary to remove it. Following the surgery, patients may require physiotherapy to recover fully.
