Forever Young BBL Before and After Photos
Anti-ageing creams and lotions cannot reach the deeper layers of skin, where much of the ageing process occurs. Forever Young BBL treatments, however, are designed to treat certain skin issues and concerns. They use an advanced form of intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy to target deeper skin layers.
Take the time to look at our Forever Young BBL before and after photos to see the results it can achieve.
The outcomes shown are only relevant for this patient and do not necessarily reflect the results other patients may experience. Results may vary due to many factors, including the individual’s genetics and lifestyle.
How Forever Young BBL Works
Forever Young BBL works by using BroadBand Light technology to deliver intense pulses of light energy to the skin. This light energy gently heats the upper layers of the skin, targeting and treating various skin conditions and signs of ageing. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas stimulates the skin cells to regenerate, leading to increased collagen production. In addition, specific wavelengths of light can target and eliminate pigmented lesions (such as age spots and freckles) and vascular lesions (like small blood vessels). The treatment can also influence genes linked to ageing.
Suitable Candidates for Forever Young BBL
At Form and Face Clinic in Sydney, the first step to determining candidacy for Forever Young BBL is to have a consultation with one of our Dermal Laser Clinicians. Suitable candidates for the procedure are looking to address the following skin concerns:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven skin tone
- Sun damage
- Enlarged pores
- Pigmentation
- Vascular lesions
- Acne
- Skin laxity
In addition, candidates should be in good overall health and have realistic expectations about what the treatment can achieve.
How Forever Young BBL Treatments are Performed
Before the treatment, the Dermal Laser Clinician will cleanse your skin and give you a pair of goggles for your protection. Once your skin is ready, the BBL will be passed several times over the targeted areas. The clinician will alternate between different settings to address different skin concerns. You may experience a warm sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas.
Treatments usually last 30 to 45 minutes, and you should be able to return to most activities afterwards. Six treatments four weeks apart are recommended; however, top-up treatments twice yearly are required to address age-related changes over time.
