Dermal Fillers Before and After Photos

Our dermal fillers before and after photos can give you an idea of what the procedure can offer if you’re looking for a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation. Dermal fillers can treat the appearance of different wrinkles in your face by adding volume and fullness.

The outcomes shown are only relevant for this patient and do not necessarily reflect the results other patients may experience, as results may vary due to many factors including the individual’s genetics, diet and exercise.

Good candidates for dermal fillers

Our Form & Face clinic in Sydney offers this safe and effective treatment to patients with the following conditions:

  • Chin crease
  • Depressed scars
  • Facial asymmetry
  • Facial creases and wrinkles
  • Lines around nose and mouth (marionette lines)
  • Sunken cheeks or temples
  • Thin lips
  • Vertical lip lines

How dermal fillers are given

Before the procedure, your surgeon will mark the areas of your face that you wish to improve. Photographs of the area will also be taken for comparison. Your surgeon will then cleanse your face with an antibacterial agent to prevent infection. An anesthetic cream will also be applied to reduce discomfort. Once the site is prepared, your surgeon will inject the dermal fillers. During the injection process, you may feel a slight discomfort. After the target facial areas have been injected with dermal fillers, your surgeon will cleanse the markings and will apply an ice pack on your face to reduce swelling.

The results of dermal fillers

Immediately after the treatment, you may notice a reduction in your wrinkles, creases, and other signs of facial aging. The results of the procedure usually last for several months. However, you need to undergo a number of injections in a year to maintain the outcome. It should also be noted that results are not guaranteed and will vary between patients.

Limitations of dermal fillers

It is important to keep in mind that this treatment will not prevent skin aging. You need to have maintenance shots to prevent your facial wrinkles from reappearing. In addition, this is not recommended if the degree of skin laxity in your face is severe.

Side effects of dermal fillers

Swelling, redness, and tenderness of the face can occur a few hours after the procedure. You may also feel pain and itching at the injection site.
