How MicroLaser Peel work
The laser beam of the device is scanned over the target area. This specialized light passes through the deeper layers of your skin and is absorbed by water. As a result, a very thin layer of your skin is vaporized. This process removes old, damaged tissues in the treatment area. As your skin heals, fresh cells grow in the area which causes your skin to look healthier, smoother, and younger-looking.

How a microlaser peel is performed
During the procedure, your surgeon will apply anesthetic cream over the treatment area to reduce discomfort. Once your skin is numb, the handheld device will be passed over areas of skin imperfections to deliver short pulses of laser energy. Immediately after the procedure, you will experience redness and a burning sensation in the treated area. After 3 to 7 days, the skin in the treated area will peel off, revealing a smoother, radiant, and rejuvenated appearance.
Body areas that can be treated
Most skin areas in your body such as your face, neck, hands, and chest can be treated. Your surgeon will discuss this during your consultation.
Recommended number treatments
To achieve excellent results, you need 2 to 4 treatments that will be scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart. However, it is important to keep in mind that the number of treatments may vary from patient to patient. Your surgeon will create a customised treatment plan based on your cosmetic needs and treatment goals.
