ProFractional Laser Before and After Photos
ProFractional laser treatment creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing response and promoting new collagen and elastin production. This process leads to the regeneration of damaged skin tissue.
Please spend time looking at our ProFractional laser treatment before and after photos to learn more about the results it can achieve.
The outcomes shown are only relevant for this patient and do not necessarily reflect the results other patients may experience. Results may vary due to many factors, including the individual’s genetics and lifestyle.
Suitable Candidates for the Treatment
At Form & Face Clinic in Sydney, we offer this treatment to patients with the following conditions:
- Acne scars
- Fine lines
- Skin pigmentation
- Sun-damaged skin
- Surgical scars
- Uneven skin tone
- Wrinkles
How the treatment works
The treatment involves using a laser beam that targets numerous pinpoint areas in the skin. This process leads to the release of more collagen, a protein that helps to strengthen the skin. The laser also triggers the release of healing substances in the body. As a result, the damaged skin cells are replaced by new, healthy cells. Once the skin has fully healed, you can see the visible results of the treatment.
How the treatment is performed
During the procedure, the skin will be cleansed with an antibacterial solution. To protect your eyes, you will need to wear safety goggles. The practitioner will also apply an anaesthetic cream to minimise discomfort. The laser handpiece will then be moved around the target area and you will hear snapping sounds. The entire process usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. Immediately after the procedure, you may experience redness and a burning sensation in the treated area.
Recovery after the treatment
You should keep in mind that the recovery time may be different for each patient. Complete healing usually occurs after a few days. You can immediately return to work and other daily activities after the procedure. As you recover at home, you need to avoid prolonged sun exposure to protect the treated area. Make sure to immediately report any unpleasant symptoms such as pain, itching, and changes in skin sensation. After 2 to 6 months, you’ll be able to see the final results of the procedure.
